Hi all :) It has, unfortunately, been a week since I was last able to post! I have been incredibly busy this week, and will be again this coming week. So much has happened in the last seven days! As you know, I began a new job, as a customer service representative for a major cell phone provider. Yes I am actually required to say that instead of the name of the company. Goofy, but whatever! Anyway I have successfully completed the first week of my training without any major, or even minor issues. Luckily I have made a couple new friends in the process as well! The only problem with my new job, as I mentioned previously, is that its an hour and ten minute drive to my job. That SUCKS. BUT, my sister and I found an excellent two bedroom apartment within about three minutes drive of my job, and have it all rented, just gotta finalize it Friday. Then we will be able to start moving in! Yay. You have NO idea how frickin excited that makes me :D I will post pictures when I am able to!! This will take care of the commute problem, and the fact that we have to move out by the 17th! Can you say, two birds with one stone? Anyways, we are extremely excited about the move, but it is gonna be so hectic with working full time and all. I will keep ya updated on that as well!
Moving on, this Saturday, when I got off work at 9, my friends came and picked me up and went to Louisville to party :D We are so lucky to have friends we can stay with up there, and my friend Shae and her hubby graciously agreed to allow us to stay with them, and their apartment is located right smack dab in the midst of downtown. So anyways, we went to Mag Bar first, which is a little neighborhood bar we usually go to because the drinks are good and cheap! After about an hour there we decided to go to Connection, which is this fabulous gay bar that we love! They have an awesome drag show, and the people are so fabulous. It cost us ten bucks to get in since it was a holiday weekend but it was totally worth it! We met this super cool English guy, who happened to be like the only straight guy there! He is awesome and we have a ton in common with him, so all of us hung out the whole night. Shae ducked out about an hour after we went there and walked home to be with her hubs, but the rest of us stayed until closing at 4. After that the English bloke, who will remained unnamed for now, drove us back to Shae's and we all hung out on her rooftop deck, but the pool. It was fabulous. Anyways, we fully intend to stay in contact with the English guy, and he said we could stay with him if we come to England. Its really cool, and sad that we met him, because the girl he is visiting up here lives a couple miles from Seville. Sunday was a nice chill day, Seville, Crystal and I just went down to Bardstown Rd and ate at La Que, which is an asian fusion restaurant. I regrettably didn't think to take pictures of the food, but it was very affordable and had HUGE portions. It was pretty good, but doesn't hold a candle to the restaurants I normally eat at, Kashmir, an Indian place that sadly is closed because of fire damage, or Thai Siam, which is nomalicious Thai! Anyways, enough talking, I will close the post with a few pictures from the weekend!
Best Wishes and Wildest Dreams <3x
