Catch Up!

Hi all :) I cannot believe how infrequently I have been posting! My apologies :( I really am trying to get better at it, but there is just SO MUCH going on right now, its hard to keep up! I am now in my fourth week of training at Sykes, and surprisingly, I still really like it! We are going to be on the phones for a week starting next Tuesday, and while I am a tiny bit nervous, I am pretty excited too! I figure that working for Orbitz for two years really helped out! We did mock calls the other night amongst ourselves down in the pit (training area) and I was so freaked out going into it, but as soon as we actually started I was fine! Even when Tara, our trainer called me. The good thing about taking calls next week is that we can start doing overtime as well, which means more moolah! Also, my bestie Seville, and her bf Steven are applying to start work with me soon! So far everything is really falling into place, which is both a nice change of pace, and a little unnerving lol.

Aside from work, although I haven't much down time, I am really loving living in Bardstown. Even though its reasonably close to Campbellsville (about an hours drive) it feels completely new, and I love that. I really love not knowing anyone, and just going and exploring, finding little gems here and there, like this amazing cemetary that Seville showed me. I plan on going back, maybe Sunday and getting pictures, so keep an eye out for those! We are all totally happy with the little apartment that we are living in as well. Its clean and comfortable and we have ac! Yay lol. Satina isn't scared here either, which of course is an important aspect as well! And I am meeting some new people, making some new friends and coming across some social opportunities as well! Its pretty exciting really lol. I am going to a Mary Kay party on October 4th, so that will be fun, and in November Tara is having a 31 party too. Also, Renee said she will probably have a Halloween party at her place, so there are some good things to look forward to! 

The only thing negative that I really have to report at this point is that Satina has been incredibly sick, and I too have gotten slightly sick, and nearly lost my voice but we both are getting well at this point! I guess that I have probably rambled on enough for today, so talk to ya soon!!
