my weekend :)

Hi all :) I just had a fabulous weekend, how about you? Friday I left work 3.5 hours early with Renee so we could go to Old Fashioned Days and see her dads band play. They were pretty good! I was totally impressed! After that just went back to her place and hung out, drank a little drank and then went to McDonalds with her boyfriend Derrick. Saturday morning before we went to work we went downtown and watched the parade, which was cute in that small town pride kind of way. There were lots of big trucks and muscle cars, tiny football players and mini pageant queens. Love it! Unfortunately I left my camera in the car so only have one photo on my cell phone and its cruddy quality so not worth putting up :( Saturday night after work I went to stay with my friend Crystal in Hodgenville so we could get up Sunday morning and go up to Louisville to go to the St James Court Art Show. It was fabulous and so packed, and so much bigger than what I expected! I thought it was going to be more local artists but people were there from all over the country! It was an excellent vibe though, and I got to see some of the gorgeous houses in historic Louisville up close. I definitely want to go back and walk around sometime when its not so encompassed in madness! I am happy to have gone, and it was such a beautiful fall day out that it made for a pretty lovely experience. After walking around a bit we headed out to Bardstown Rd to get some grub at Falafel House, a Mediterranean restaurant we frequent. Their kabobs are delish and the hummus is yummus. :D We were fortunate enough to get there during a slow time and thus got good outdoor seats and were able to listen to the bands that they had playing out in the street. It got a little bit cold out there but was otherwise pleasant! Anyways, thats enough jibber jabber I will post some pics now!! Until next time!
