Summer is on its way in, and if you are anything like me then you know there is nothing like curling up somewhere comfy and spending the day with a good book. These porch swing beds seem to me like they are the best place possible to do such, especially if your porch is outfitted with ceiling fans and a pitcher of iced tea :) I would love to have one of these, but alas being a renter the installation of one of these into our sunroom would probably be frowned upon! A girl can dream though, and I shall. Enjoy the pics!!
Aand while I am dreaming/drooling might as well share my idea of a perfect hammock ;)

And you know... BIG (sarcastic) thanks for making me want a fairytale bed hanging in the trees. In my minds eye, there are toadstools and moss on the ground beneath. And possibly on the trunks of the trees. And there are lightning bugs as well. Like, everywhere.

My imaginary fairytale bed just acquired an airy canopy, and I am sorry the job fell through. I hope something turns up for you soon.

Oh I know believe me I do, upon seeing that bed floating in the trees it is impossible to stop daydreaming about the possibilities. I dig the firefly thing but imagine some sweet lanterns hanging in the branches would be right up my alley :) I love the air canopy idea, some lovely mosquito netting would be just perfect!
