It's my birthday! Woot! It has been a low key, but good day. Unfortunately I have also gotten sick. Happy Birthday to me, eh? Anyways, I got up, opened my gifts, and then headed out to get some freebies for lunch! First stop Starbucks for my *FREE* Venti Java Chip Frappuccino (with a shot!), and then over to Firehouse subs for my free sub. I had never eaten there before but holy cow it was so tasty. I wish I had one now actually. I digress. Anyway, when I got online a bit ago I noticed that Google customizes the homepage for your birthday! I squealed a bit when I clicked on it and it took me to my (admittedly blank) Google+ page. How fun! #nerd! Speaking of nerdy, my best gift was the hand painted Hercules shoes my sister made me! I was so excited!! The only really disappointing bit of my day was that when I went by Dairy Queen to get my traditional ice cream cake they were closed down. As in empty building. WTH! I settled for a Wal-Mart mixed cheesecake instead. It was just as well though because this evening I haven't been able to taste anything.
