Happy Halloween y'all. I LOVE Halloween. Unfortunately I am a slacker on the costume front and this year was no different. Satina even accused me of not being in spirit. How rude! I had considered bruising myself up, as a previous post eluded to, but decided that I wasn't ready to be out and about while running errands looking like I had the snot beat out of me. I ended up just doing some drastic black and orange makeup and inadvertently terrifying a small boy at Wal-Mart..oops? I don't think it was scary, nor was it meant to be. I felt terrible! Anyway, tonight after a quick dinner of a delicious Udi's gf pizza Satina and I headed out to the Gulf Coast Christian Church trunk or treat before heading over to the neighborhood surrounding her school for some door to door TorT'ing. Next year we will go there first as there were loads of places giving out candy even "late", after eight. One sweet girl around my age offered me cider after confirming I was an adult and when I refused she replied with "Are you sure, there's Rum in it!?" Tempting! All in all it was a successful night. I especially love that they don't from upon being out after dark here. That is half of the fun!
