As you may know, my first ever Disney trip is right around the corner. I knew I wanted to have a cute autograph book, but I wanted something that was really "me". A quick trip to Joann's and the idea for this baby was born.

Before, it was a little sketchbook. It was the last one in the store and the cover was totally detached from it, which ended up working perfectly for my purposes. :)
I forgot to take a picture but next I reinforced the flimsy front cover with a hard cardboard and let that dry. Then I covered the insides (front and back) with a decorative scrapbook paper to keep it pretty.
Next I covered the outside with a black reptile skin faux leather paper. I cut it a little larger than needed so I could wrap it around the inside so there were no exposed edges. They didn't hold while the glue was drying, so alligator clips to the rescue!
After everything dried it was time to reattach the paper to the cover.
And now, the fun part, time to bling it out! Those rhinestone strips were the exact width that I needed, no trimming required. It was just meant to be!
The finished product. I love it!
