Hart & Seoul by Kristen Burnham - Bookin' It With Jen

We are a K-Pop loving household so when I read this books description I KNEW I had to read it! Who wouldn't want to live next to and befriend a (secret) runaway popstar?! 

The book was really cute and fun on the romance front, but didn't pull any punches when it came to revealing the dark side of the K-Pop industry, involuntary plastic surgery, controlling entertainments, and just being worked to the bone. You could tell that the author is genuinely a fan and not just jumping on the bandwagon. Perfect beach read for any K-Pop fan, but those who aren't will still enjoy it! 

I'm really looking forward to the sequel.
